Emma Ely

Environmental Engineer, E.I.T

Emma is an environmental engineer with a background in RCRA, CERCLA, SARA Title III,  SWPPP, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and other State and Federal environmental regulations. Her experience includes working as an environmental professional in the oil and gas industry. She has managed environmental aspects of oil and gas (O&G) pipelines and terminal facilities including air, water, and waste permits.  She is experienced in evaluating natural resources impacts of proposed O&G projects including analysis of potential wetlands, FEMA floodplains, and endangered species within the proposed project areas. Emma has participated in spill prevention planning and spill response activities and has prepared spill response plans, conducted soil and groundwater sampling investigations, and has worked with industry and regulatory officials to achieve required site cleanup levels. At Quantum, Emma works on a wide variety of environmental projects including spill prevention planning, due diligence studies, site assessment, and site remediation.  She received her bachelor’s degree from the Colorado School of Mines in Environmental Engineering and minored in Public Affairs. Emma is currently pursuing a Professional Engineering license.
